NRG Oncology seeks to fill the position of Vice-Chair, NRG Oncology Early Phase Trial Oversight Committee

We are seeking nominations for the position of Vice-Chair, NRG Early Phase Trial Oversight Committee. This committee is one of five oversight committees which help to guide, review and evaluate, and implement clinical trials in accordance with the group's strategic themes, strengths, and the research needs of the overall National Clinical Trials Network.

The Early Phase Trial Oversight Committee (EPTOC)provides oversight for the group's Phase I and non-randomized Phase II trials and for the safety lead-in components of protocols.

The successful candidate has experience in early phase trial conduct, demonstrated leadership, objectivity, and knowledge of good clinical trial practice, as well as a commitment to the mission of NRG Oncology and cancer clinical research. Candidates should have a history of mentorship, and a willingness to work closely with the committee chair to meet the obligations and responsibilities of the committee as described in the EPTOC Charter located on the committee webpage.

NRG Oncology Committee Chairs and Vice-Chairs must be at an NRG Oncology Member Institution and eligible to receive federal funding. Nominal funds from federal grants to offset related effort and travel to NRG Oncology meetings is provided.
