Imaging Committee

Purpose
The Imaging Committee is charged with enhancing the use of imaging in clinical trials, both ensuring that standard imaging is used optimally when informing trial endpoints as well as potentially evaluating novel imaging in the context of trials. NRG Oncology established Imaging Committee to provide expert review and consultative services to disease site committee investigators who are proposing new clinical trials that include conventional imaging and/or investigational imaging. The Imaging Committee is a supportive committee aimed at providing guidance to investigators developing protocol concepts. We aim to match experts in relevant imaging techniquest to protocol teams to help ensure concept success. In particular, we hope to help teams avoid pitfalls that could adversely impact ultimate image-based trial endpoints. We are also keenly interested in theranostics and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and help to support their use and development in protocol concepts. This committee meets quarterly.
