Investigator Development Subcommittee

Purpose

The Investigator Development Subcommittee focuses on expanding opportunities for investigators at all career levels to engage in NRG research, leadership, and clinical trial development. The subcommittee works to identify barriers to participation and develop strategies to increase investigator involvement in NRG initiatives.

The subcommittee will:

  • Support career progression for investigators by facilitating access to leadership roles, research collaborations, and protocol development teams.
  • Identify and address barriers to investigator engagement within NRG committees and clinical trial opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to enhance investigator participation in key areas such as committee membership, protocol leadership, and research collaborations.
  • Provide resources and guidance to help new-to-NRG investigators navigate NRG’s research structure and connect with relevant committees and research groups.
  • Track investigator engagement trends and provide recommendations to NRG leadership on ways to improve accessibility and participation.

The Investigator Development Subcommittee meets quarterly.
