Communications Committee

Purpose
The goal of this committee is to determine ways to promote NRG clinical trials and engage research professionals and patients alike in NRG research efforts. Additionally, this committee is responsible for supporting other committees and departments within the organization in the promotion and dissemination of materials to assist with trials in progress, to publicize published abstracts and manuscripts, and to facilitate community site outreach. This committee has several ongoing efforts, including but not limited to: hosting all NRG Social Media platforms (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), the creation of multiple PI Toolkit materials for trials, all email broadcast communications, monthly newsletters, updates and changes to the NRG website, press and media relations, the NRG Oncology Podcast, and NRG Meeting support. This committee meets virtually bi-monthly and hosts a Social Media Workshop at the semiannual NRG Meetings.
