FORTE enrolled its 1700th participant on July 3, 2024, less than a month after enrolling the 1600th participant!

FORTE Coordinator Session – August 7

If you couldn’t join NRG Oncology at the NRG Summer Meeting in Denver this summer, the FORTE Coordinator session will connect you with successfully accruing sites on enrollment best practices. The FORTE Workshop was held on Friday, July 26, where Dr. Kachnic, Associate NCORP Chair, championed the importance of this colorectal cancer prevention clinical trial. Topics discussed include an overview of the trial’s progress and strategies to continue expanding patient recruitment (Dr. Robert Schoen, Protocol Chair), FORTE initiatives to increase enrollment (Dr. Jeffrey Dueker, Protocol Co-Chair), FORTE at the University of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain VA from both PI and research team perspectives, and FORTE video and communication efforts (Cheryl Leow, FORTE Education and Communication Specialist).
